Brand & identity
Identity systems built on a point of view — not a moodboard. We name, write, draw, and document the work carefully enough that it survives a change of marketing director.
We work without the boundaries others draw — building identities, films, and platforms for the work that won't sit still.
Most work gets shrunk to fit.
We make the kind that doesn't.
Every discipline below is practised in-house. We won't recommend a service we can't sit at the table for.
Identity systems built on a point of view — not a moodboard. We name, write, draw, and document the work carefully enough that it survives a change of marketing director.
Films, photography, live coverage of events. Concept to colour grade — handled by the same eyes from the first treatment to the final master.
Channels run as publications, not as feeds. We plan the year, write the calendar, shoot the work, and answer the comments — the whole loop, not the loud part.
Websites and platforms designed in-house and built without templates. Considered, fast, accessible, and quietly opinionated about the small things that decide whether a site feels finished.
Campaigns with an idea behind them. Bought, written, and shot by the same people — so the brand still sounds like the brand by the time it reaches the feed.
Every project — brand, film, platform, campaign — climbs the same six rungs. Documented at every step. Nothing happens off the page.
Before any work, we ask the questions the brief didn't. Who is this really for? What is it really competing with? What's the line nobody on the team has been willing to draw? Most projects find their shape here.
Markets, behaviours, the work the category has been doing for the last decade. We read everything before we sketch anything — it's faster in the long run, and the work is sharper for it.
A short, signed document that says — in writing — what we're doing and what we're refusing to do. Strategy is a list of refusals as much as a list of intentions.
The strategy made visible — typography, voice, marks, films, interfaces. Iteration with intent, never decoration. We hold our own work to a higher bar than the brief asked for.
Every place the work meets a real person — programmed, written, scheduled, finished. The hand-off is part of the work, not a courtesy after it.
A month after launch, we're still answering the email. The work isn't done when it ships — it's done when the team using it can carry it without us.
Full production of an annual awards programme honouring the region's digital creators. We handled the show end-to-end — direction, cinematography, photography, edit. Built to look the way the night actually felt.
View project
A year-long brand and social campaign mandate for one of Qatar's established freight & logistics operators. Every piece designed in Arabic and English in parallel — concept, typography, art direction. We took the feed on as a campaign series, not a content calendar.
View projectOctomedia is a creative, digital & production studio based in Doha. We started in 2025 — led by a Qatari engineer, with a team of designers, writers, and producers drawn from agencies across the region, all wanting to make work more innovative.
Every project gets the same handful of names on it from beginning to end — no juniors handed the work after the pitch deck, no subcontracted production, no "account team" that hasn't read the strategy.
The studio is multilingual by default. We work in Arabic, English, Chinese, French, and Hindi — each one drawn in parallel. A multicultural team — Qatari, Indian, and beyond — is how that's possible.
